I tried this for my fur nephew, a 4 year old white husky that I help caretake. He loves it! When I first opened a can to add to his food, my cats went NUTS so I gave them both a spoonful. My puggle, who has a sensitive stomach, was not feeding well and refused to eat his dry food. He is normally fed a salmon and sweet potato kibble. I needed something to feed him without further trouble from a reaction to a new food. The against the grain salmon was just perfect! He gobbled it down within seconds of putting it into his bowl. The food contains gravy which is great because we can pour it over his dry kibble to moisten it. Many reviews say they are disappointed because it’s just the salmon but it clearly states on the can it is for intermittent feeding and you should add to it. We have been slowly adding the dry kibble daily and it has been a game changer for us. Also great so we can hide his antibiotic in the mix. We tired all kinds of ways to get him to take it and this was the only way he’d take it. We will definitely be keeping this stuff on hand for emergencies! The food definitely has a fishy odor to it, but it should its 100% salmon. The most important thing is it helped my dog who refused to eat and that makes any human mama happy! Thank you for making this product!
